Endure and persist; this pain will turn to your good. - Ovid

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. - Romans 5:1-5

What was your weight going into Boston. Did you train different food wise. It's good to have some easy runs.

Hey, are you doing any races between July and Jan?

From Paul on Sat, Apr 30, 2011 at 12:14:17 from 24.10.141.104

Kory - I don't know. I didn't weigh myself at all in the two months or so before Boston. Probably 128-130, based on how my pants were fitting. Didn't make any dietary changes, although I've relaxed some in general. But I still try to eat "real" food.

Josse - thanks. I liked it too. There were a lot of good pics that came out of Boston, but I don't know if I can cough up $80 for them.

Jon - I'm sure I'll do one race/month for the whole year, but I just haven't registered for anything beyond what's listed. I don't have any real plans, other than to find some local races through September, and then perhaps do a more rigorous "racing season" in the late fall and early winter in preparation for Trials.

Ya I wouldn't pay 80 buck for a photo no matter how good it made me look. They should just give it to you seeing you were 3rd american.

I was laughingly telling Marci how you are following up your prestigious, amazing top 3 American finish at Boston with the equally famous Smithfield Health Days 10k.

Don't bash Health Days. And I'm doing the 5K.
