Endure and persist; this pain will turn to your good. - Ovid

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. - Romans 5:1-5

Big Workout. Ran with Mike, and did a 12-mile progression run, followed by 4-mile cooldown...Power Trail to Poudre Trail.

Splits: 7:27, 6:33, 6:25, 5:53, 5:50, 5:48, 5:41, 5:33, 5:31, 5:26, 5:33, 5:23

So I had a de-progression on the second-to-last mile, but other than that it was about perfect.

noon - Big Workout. Warmed up 4 miles, then did 10x1km, with 75s recoveries. 4 mile cooldown. The workout went just ok. The good was that I finished it and I was very consistent, but it was pretty slow. To be expected at this point in high-mileage training, I suppose.

3:15, 3:13, 3:14, 3:14, 3:13, 3:14, 3:14, 3:13, 3:12, 3:10
