Endure and persist; this pain will turn to your good. - Ovid

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. - Romans 5:1-5

Big Workout. Did 7x3-minute fartlek up Smithfield Canyon, 90s recovery between. Pace was 5:30-5:45, although it got progressively slower each one! (all intervals were on the uphill). Felt pretty good, nice day to run. Averaged 6:30/mile for 14 miles.

Anyone want to buy a treadmill? I am selling a barely-used NordicTrack Commercial 1750 treadmill. Originally bought it for $1500 last December, used it about a dozen times during the winter, and it's been sitting ever since. Still has parts/labor warranty left. Works perfect. I'm trying to sell it for $750, but will give a little bit better deal if a fastrunningblogger buys it. Send me a blog message or email if interested.
