Endure and persist; this pain will turn to your good. - Ovid

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. - Romans 5:1-5

Ended up just doing 3.5 miles (neighborhood loop). Legs were not sore, but pretty fatigued from yesterday. Pace was a blistering 8:20/mile.

Fossil Creek with Zoe. Very windy, and the stroller was like a sail.

Workout. Met Mike and my office, and we did 4-3-2-1 on Power/Poudre Trail, plus some roads.

Splits were (5:35, 5:26, 5:29, 5:34), (5:31, 5:33, 5:22), (5:16, 5:36)

During the 2-mile interval, I got pretty fatigued and faded badly during the last mile. So I cut off the workout there and didn't do the last 1-mile interval (no point in running a 6-minute mile at this point).

Okay workout, but I still have a ways to go in building fitness. 14 miles, averaged 6:14/mile overall.

Easy 5 miles wth some strides. 7:04/mile. Feel good, but the weather tomorrow is supposed to be wretched for a race: 3-5" of snow and 20mph wind.
